In an interview both Theuns Fraser( Head Coach of South Africa ) and Dr. Simon Botha( Technical Advisor for Team Malaysia ) who are also members of Team Henselite South Africa, stated that the Henselite Tiger and Tiger Pro were successful at the Games because of their specific playing qualities. They regarded two products as very competitive on the surfaces players faced in Glasgow.

Other bowlers who achieved great success while playing with Henselite products are;

Morgan Muvhango who won the South African men's singles, Nic Rusling who won the SA Masters and Theuns Fraser who dominated the Senior Masters and won the title at the Wanderers. Theuns also won the Sables men's Singles and Pairs playing with Henselite Tiger Pro's, and then capped a successful year with Henselite winning the all Transvaal singles title.

"The Henselite Tiger Pro is by far a more superior product to play with on South African greens" Theuns Fraser.
